Jammu, July 11 -- Asserting that infiltration attempts from across the border are a continuous process, defence sources today said that "as of now", the Line of Control (LoC) is quiet, but the alertness level of troops is very high.
"The LoC is quiet 'as of now' but inputs are there of infiltration attempts as it is a continuous process from the Pakistan side," credible sources in the Army said.
They said that as 'Operation Sindoor' is not yet called off, the alertness and vigil all along the LoC is very high.
At present, as Shri Amarnath Yatra is underway, sources said, "security for Amarnath Yatra is our prime focus for which many arrangements are made and there is a huge deployment of security forces along with sister concern agencies...
