Lucknow, Sept. 3 -- A delegation of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), led by Rajiv Pasi, Uttar Pradesh President, met the state Director General of Police (DGP) on Wednesday informing him of a death threat to union Minister Chirag Paswan.
The delegation submitted a memorandum to the DGP, demanding an impartial and thorough investigation into the incident, prompt identification of the perpetrators and strict legal action against them, and adequate and robust security for Paswan.
Addressing a press conference, Pasi stated that threatening any public representative or political leader is unacceptable in a democratic system.
