Bhubaneshwar, Feb. 23 -- In an attempt to transform the healthcare landscape of Odisha and Eastern India, a comprehensive Liver Transplant Programme and the state-of-the-art Surgical Robotic System became operational on Monday.
Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda virtually inaugurated the Liver Transplant Unit and formally launched the Advanced Robotic Surgery System at the Institute today. Aparajita Sarangi, Member of Parliament, Bhubaneswar, and union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava also graced the occasion.
