Dhaka, Aug. 1 -- Newly appointed ODI skipper Litton Das has been included in the Test squad for the opening game of the ICC World Test Championship series against Australia in Darwin, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed in a statement.
The 31-year-old, who had been sidelined since June due to a left calf injury, has responded wellto his rehabilitation programme, the BCB stated.
Litton will fly to Darwin on Sunday to join the squad.
Bangladesh who have been marred by injuries will be without their pacers Nahid Rana and Tanzim Hasan Sakib in the series and are still awaiting updates on Shoriful Islam and Mustafizur Rahim, according to ICC.
