Dhaka, Sept. 15 -- Bangladesh cricketer Liton Das has publicly celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi at his home with his family, sending a message of religious faith amid reported online threats and hostility directed at him over his Hindu identity.
Das, along with his wife Deboshree Sonchita and daughter, welcomed Lord Ganesha into their home and offered prayers. The family decorated the idol with flowers and offered modak and fruits, with photographs of the celebrations shared on social media.
