Bhubaneswar, April 27 -- The Sattwalipi Committee of the Lingaraj Temple has submitted a set of recommendations aimed at streamlining rituals and strengthening the administration of the historic shrine.

The committee's second interim report was presented to Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan.

The panel, comprising Justice Dr. Durga Prasanna Choudhury as chairman and Professor Prafulla Kumar Mishra as a member, has put forward around 16 key proposals.

The recommendations focus on ensuring discipline in temple rituals and improving overall management. Major suggestions include repairs to the sanctum sanctorum and the temple kitchen (Roshashala), enhancement of lighting facilities, and structured training programmes for servitors (s...
