Ch. Sambhajinagar, Sept. 6 -- The India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rainfall across all eight districts of the Marathwada region starting from September five, as monsoon conditions continue to remain active over Maharashtra with delayed withdrawal expected beyond mid-September.
The weather department has indicated that scattered to fairly widespread rainfall activity with heavy rainfall at isolated places is very likely over Marathwada during the current period due to influence of low pressure area formation over Bay of Bengal and upper air cyclonic circulation over northwest Rajasthan.
