New Delhi, July 11 -- Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Saturday took a Metro ride on his way to Connaught Place, often referred to as the city's 'heart,' where people, mostly on weekends visit in large numbers to enjoy food, shopping and spend time with family and friends.
Sandhu, dressed in casuals, mingled with the common public during his metro ride, and had candid conversations with people from different age groups, who shared their experiences and also issues related to the city.
The LG has mentioned that like his previous metro ride, it was an insightful experience on this Saturday as well, hearing from people directly about their daily commute, civic concerns, and aspirations for the capital city.
