Srinagar, Aug. 1 -- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday handed over appointment letters to the family members of two police personnel who were killed in terror attacksSinha handed over appointment letter to Absar Ashiq Qureshi, son of J&K Police's Head constable Ashiq Hussain Qureshi, at Lok Bhavan, today.
"The family members of martyr were also present," an official statement said.
The Lieutenant Governor paid tribute to the Qureshi who was killed in the line of on July 22 in terror attack in Anantnag. LG assured the family of all possible support.
Earlier last week, the Lieutenant Governor had visited the family members of the Head Constable in Lalpora, Beerwah, Budgam.
