New Delhi, June 15 -- : Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Monday inaugurated an Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) in Vikaspuri, adding to Delhi's network of Aadhaar service centres and bringing enrolment and update facilities closer to residents of West Delhi.

The centre has been established under the second phase of the Unique Identification Authority of India's (UIDAI) Aadhaar Service Centre expansion programme. With the launch of the Vikaspuri facility, Delhi now has six operational Aadhaar Seva Kendras.

Besides the newly inaugurated Vikaspuri centre, the facilities are located at Akshardham Metro Station (East Delhi), Malviya Nagar (South Delhi), Lal Bagh (North West Delhi), Dhaula Kuan Metro Station (South West Delhi) and Pitampur...
