New Delhi, July 4 -- Lieutenant Governor Delhi Taranjit Singh Sandhu has issued strict instructions to follow a zero-tolerance approach towards encroachments across the national capital.

According to officials, LG Sandhu chaired a meeting of the Delhi Development Authority's Advisory Council on Friday where it has taken a firm stand against the unauthorized occupation of public land across the city.

Taking strict note of the encroachments and the alleged misuse of public land, the LG has directed DDA to clearly follow a 'zero- tolerance' stance in this regard, and step up efforts towards reclaiming government land.
