Srinagar, July 4 -- Stressing that the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra is being conducted in accordance with the prescribed ceiling on pilgrim movement as mandated by the Supreme Court, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday said strict adherence to the registration schedule is imperative to ensure the safety, security and convenience of all pilgrims.
Chairing a high-level review meeting to assess the overall management and ground situation of the Yatra, the Lieutenant Governor reviewed pilgrim movement, traffic management, security arrangements, accommodation, registration status and other logistical aspects with senior civil, police and security officials.
