Ahilyanagar, Nov. 13 -- In yet another instance of rise in significant leopard activity in Nagar, a leopard grabbed and fled with a five-year-old girl in front of her family at Karjune Khare village in Ahilyanagar taluka today.
As per preliminary reports some families of agricultural labourers were sitting around a fire at 6:30 pm due to the cold. And, the victim, identified as Riyanka Sunil Pawar, a five-year-old girl, was playing nearby. At that time, a leopard suddenly came from the neighbouring field and carried Rianka away in front of the family. This incident has shaken the entire family.
The family members made noise in order to scare and chase away the big cat, but nothing happened.
