Moscow, Sept. 6 -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Sunday described accusations against Russia over a drone incident at Germany's Leipzig Airport as "the beginning of a real war," while warning that Berlin's recent actions could further escalate tensions between the two countries.
Speaking in an interview with Russian media outlet Vesti, Lavrov questioned the basis of the allegations against Moscow, saying that authorities had not established who was responsible for the drone.
"No one bothered to investigate who the drone belonged to," Lavrov said.
"This is basically the beginning of a real war," he added.
