New Delhi, June 19 -- A large number of workers associated with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) joined the Congress at the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) headquarters, Rajiv Bhawan, in the presence of DPCC president Devender Yadav.
The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee said that the new entrants were welcomed during an event held on the occasion of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's birthday.
Yadav said the party would work to strengthen the Congress under the leadership of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.
