Chandigarh, Sept. 5 -- A sudden landslide in Dhangoo Peer village, located along the Punjab-Himachal Pradesh border, caused chaos yesterday morning, damaging a family's home and sending debris cascading into the Chakki river.
The incident, which took place in the hilly terrain of the village, has left residents shaken. However, there was no losss of life.
The landslide struck in two directions: one part of the collapsing hillside buried a house under debris, rendering it uninhabitable, while another section of the rubble slid into the nearby Chakki river, creating a dramatic scene of falling earth.
