Dhanbad, Sept. 5 -- At least three people were feared killed and several others trapped today after a major landslide, allegedly caused by illegal coal mining, hit the Ramkanali area of Jharkhand's Dhanbad district.

The incident occurred at Kumhar Tola Munda Dhora, where a mine collapsed, trapping several workers engaged in illegal excavation.

Local residents claimed that at least three workers had died, though this could not be officially confirmed. Eyewitnesses alleged that some migrant workers fled the scene with the bodies of the deceased. Several injured people were rushed to a nearby nursing home.

Several cattle were also rescued from the debris, while two vehicles belonging to Bharat Coking Coal Limited were caught in the landslid...
