Patna, Oct. 23 -- Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Samrat Choudhary has attacked the RJD and the INDIA Alliance over the announcement of Tejashwi Yadav as the alliance's chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Assembly elections.

He alleged that RJD president Lalu Yadav, through sheer coercion and political "torture," forced his allies to declare his son as the chief ministerial candidate.

He said, "The people of Bihar gave RJD 15 years to govern, but in return, they received loot, murder, and corruption. Today, the corrupt, the son of a convicted criminal, dreams of becoming the Chief Minister of Bihar.
