Patna, Dec. 11 -- Rohini Acharya, estranged daughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad, on Thursday urged CM Nitish Kumar to take effective steps to ensure justice to women in the state, even in their parents' home after marriage, besides in social and political activities.

Rohini had left her parents' home after the declaration of the results of the recently held Bihar assembly elections, alleging that she was "insulted and humiliated" by her brother and senior RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.
