Patna, July 5 -- RJD chief Lalu Prasad was today formally declared elected as national president of the party on 13 times in a row.
Prasad was formally declared elected in national council meeting amid cheers of all party leaders and workers present on the occasion. It is a coincidence that national council meeting of the party was held on its foundation day.
Prasad while addressing the meeting said that he had never compromised with principle in his long political career. He was instrumental in implementing recommendations of Mandal Commission.
RJD chief said that BJP was hell bent on demolishing all constitutional institutions.
