Patna, May 28 -- Lalganj Bagewa Tengaraha Gram Panchayat of Supaul district has emerged as a model of rural development and social transformation, becoming a source of inspiration in areas such as water conservation, sanitation, education, healthcare and agricultural progress.
With a population of around 7,000, the gram panchayat has carved out a distinct identity through its cultural heritage, religious significance, natural resources and development-oriented initiatives. Villagers said the panchayat had staked claim for the National Panchayat Award following major improvements brought under the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali campaign.
