Kolhapur, April 1 -- Lakhs of devotees from Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, and neighboring states including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh attended the annual Lord Jyotiba fair today on Chaitra Purnima at Wadi-Ratnagiri in Panhala tehsil, approximately 20 km from Kolhapur.

Devotees from across Maharashtra and beyond participated in the festivities with great enthusiasm.

A 'Puja' of family deity Lord Jyoti a was performed early morning today , followed by the government's official puja and abhishek between 5:00 and 6:00 am, performed by Panhala Tehsildar M S Madhvi Shinde.
