New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- President Droupadi Murmu Tuesday appointed Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena to discharge the functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir during the absence on leave of incumbent Manoj Sinha, the President's Secretariat said on Tuesday.
According to a Press Communique issued by the President's Secretariat, Saxena will hold the additional charge of the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor's office alongside his existing responsibilities as Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.
