Los Angeles, May 28 -- LA28 organizers has unveiled the competition schedule for the 2028 Paralympic Games, which will feature a record 23 sports and 560 medal events across 14 days of competition.
The Games will be the first Paralympics staged in Los Angeles and is set to be the largest in history, with more than 1,100 hours of competition planned across nearly 20 venues in seven competition zones around the Los Angeles region.
According to the organizers on Wednesday, all venues will be located within a 35-mile radius, aiming to provide a compact and accessible Games experience.
The opening ceremony will be held on August 15, 2028, with the closing ceremony scheduled for August 27.
