Los Angeles, Aug. 9 -- Spanish midfielder Sergi Roberto has joined LA Galaxy on a free transfer, the Major League Soccer (MLS) club said.
The 34-year-old agreed to a deal that runs until 2028 after his contract with Italy's Como expiredin June.
"Sergi brings a combination of leadership, technical quality, tactical intelligence and championship experience that few players have," Galaxy general manager Will Kuntz said in a statement on the club's official website.
