New Delhi, July 9 -- To prevent selection disputes well before the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics and make the process more transparent, the Sports Ministry has asked all recognised National Sports Federations (NSFs) to publicly announce how athletes will qualify and be selected for the Games.
The federations have been given a deadline of July 15, 2026, to publish the complete qualification and selection pathway on their official websites.
The Ministry has directed every recognised NSF to upload the qualification pathway, selection criteria and the process that will be followed to pick athletes for the Los Angeles Olympics.
