Hyderabad, Aug. 31 -- Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) aims to cross the 1,000-branch milestone in the next 12 months, Managing Director and CEO B Ramesh Babu said on Monday.
Speaking to the media after inaugurating the bank's 919th branch at Gachibowli, he said KVB opened 16 branches simultaneously across the country, including six in Tamil Nadu, five in Andhra Pradesh, three in Telangana and one each in Delhi and Karnataka.
With the latest additions, KVB has 66 branches in Telangana, covering 24 of the state's 33 districts. The bank plans to expand its presence in the remaining districts, particularly those with high growth potential.
