Patna, March 20 -- The Kunda Ghat reservoir project on the Bahuara River in Sikandra block of Jamui district, Bihar, is nearing completion and is expected to be finished by March 31, officials said.
According to official sources, the project will create irrigation potential for approximately 2,035 hectares of land in the Sikandra block. Nearly 95 percent of the construction work has already been completed.
The Water Resources Department has undertaken several initiatives to strengthen irrigation infrastructure across Bihar, with the Kunda Ghat reservoir project being one of its key efforts.
