Bengaluru, July 10 -- union Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Friday sought to end speculation over his political future, asserting that he has no plans to quit his responsibilities at the Centre for an immediate return to Karnataka politics, even as he indicated that he would play a more active role in revitalising the Janata Dal (Secular) in the state.
Responding to reports that he was preparing to shift his focus entirely to Karnataka, Kumaraswamy said his frequent visits to the state should not be misconstrued as a signal of an imminent return.
"Coming to the state does not mean that I am coming back tomorrow itself. I am working both in the state and at the Centre," he told reporters here.
