Bengaluru, Aug. 12 -- Former Karnataka Chief Minister and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy has stepped up efforts to woo disgruntled Congress legislators, signalling an early attempt to exploit growing discontent within the ruling party and rebuild the regional outfit ahead of the 2028 Assembly elections.
The political outreach assumes significance coming days after the Congress government expanded its Cabinet and allocated portfolios, an exercise that left several aspirants and sections of the party unhappy.
