Bengaluru, June 22 -- Karnataka's land politics has once again been pushed into the centre of a heated confrontation, with union Minister HD Kumaraswamy reopening old Assembly debates and accusing the state government of operating a parallel system in the handling of the Bidadi Smart Township project.
Calling the township-related decision-making process "unofficial", Kumaraswamy alleged that key administrative steps linked to land notifications were not being carried out through the Deputy Commissioner's office, but through what he described as informal channels outside the established government structure.
