Bengaluru, Oct. 29 -- Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Kumaraswamy on Thursday launched a sharp attack on Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge over the controversial sting operation, accusing him of defending those involved and alleging a conspiracy involving the Congress leadership against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
In a strongly worded social media post addressed to Kharge, Kumaraswamy questioned the minister's statements on the sting operation and alleged that he was attempting to divert attention from the controversy.
Accusing Kharge of making statements based on incomplete information, Kumaraswamy asked whether the minister had any connection with the sting operation and why he was allegedly defending those involved in it.
