Srinagar, Aug. 1 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday strongly condemned the killing of two non-local labourers in a terrorist attack in south Kashmir's Kulgam district and announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs 10 lakh each for the next of kin of the deceased.

The compensation will be provided from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and will be in addition to the immediate assistance of Rs 6 lakh each to be provided by the District Administration, the office of Chief Minister said.

The Chief Minister expressed profound grief over the loss of innocent lives and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
