Thiruvananthapuram, July 3 -- The Kerala government's Kudumbashree Mission has launched a two-day state-level convergence workshop aimed at enhancing awareness and access to Central and State government livelihood schemes in the animal husbandry sector among Kudumbashree beneficiaries and farmers.
The workshop, being held at SHSRC, Thycaud on July 3 and 4, seeks to bring together various government departments and institutions implementing livestock-related livelihood, entrepreneurship and skill development programmes.
By ensuring better coordination among these agencies, the initiative aims to help Kudumbashree farmers secure sustainable employment and improve their income through diversified livestock-based enterprises.
