Hyderabad, May 21 -- Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Thursday launched a sharp attack on the Congress government over the alleged crop procurement crisis in Telangana, accusing Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of failing the farming community.
In an open letter to the Chief Minister, KTR alleged that farmers across the state have been facing severe hardships due to delays in procurement, shortage of facilities at procurement centres, and administrative negligence.
He claimed farmers were waiting for nearly two months at procurement centres and protests, dharnas, and road blockades were being witnessed across Telangana.
