Hyderabad, March 11 -- Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Thursday termed the Speaker's verdict on disqualification petitions against defecting MLAs as "undemocratic and cruel," alleging that it was part of a political game being played by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Reacting to the decision of Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, KTR alleged that there was heavy pressure on the Speaker and that the ruling Indian National Congress was orchestrating the defection issue.
