Adilabad, June 20 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao on Saturday strongly criticised the Telangana government's reported decision to limit crop procurement, alleging that it would severely impact farmers across the state.
Addressing a BRS general body meeting in the Boath constituency of Adilabad district, KTR claimed that the state government had decided to procure crops only to the extent permitted by the Centre, leaving farmers to find buyers for the remaining produce.
He alleged that the move would adversely affect paddy growers as well as farmers cultivating crops such as jowar, Bengal gram, red gram and soybeans.
