Hyderabad, Feb. 16 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao on Monday strongly condemned what he termed as undemocratic and anarchic practices adopted by the ruling Congress during the ongoing chairman and vice-chairman elections in several municipalities across Telangana.
In a statement, KTR alleged that instead of respecting the people's mandate, the government and police were acting in a partisan manner by obstructing elected representatives.
He expressed anger over alleged attempts by Congress MPs and MLAs to kidnap elected members and resort to intimidation and attacks in various towns, including Thorrur, Jangaon, Kyatanapalli and Kagaznagar.
