Sangareddy (Telangana), May 4 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao on Monday toured Sangareddy district and inspected a grain procurement centre at Sadasivapet, alleging widespread hardship among farmers due to the state government's policies.
Addressing party workers and farmers, KTR accused the Congress government led by A. Revanth Reddy of failing to procure crops effectively and delaying key support measures.
He claimed that farmers are not receiving timely payments under the Rythu Bandhu scheme and are being denied the stipulated Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops such as paddy, jowar, and gram.
