Hyderabad, Aug. 7 -- BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) today accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of compromising Telangana's self-respect through frequent visits to Delhi, alleging that such political visits were against the state's interests.

Speaking at Telangana Bhavan on the birth anniversary of Telangana ideologue Prof K Jayashankar, KTR claimed that Revanth Reddy had visited Delhi 75 times since assuming office, averaging one trip every 13 days. Recalling Prof Jayashankar's ideals, he said Telangana should maintain an independent political identity rather than becoming subservient to Delhi-based parties.
