Hyderabad, July 18 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Saturday accused the Congress government of betraying Telangana's youth by failing to fulfil its election promise of providing two lakh jobs, and challenged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to substantiate his claim of filling 70,000 government vacancies.

Addressing the "Yuva Sangrama Sadassu" organised by the BRS Youth and Students wings at Saroornagar, KTR said the conference was deliberately held at the same venue where, he alleged, the Congress had misled unemployed youth through its "Youth Declaration" before the Assembly elections.

Claiming that the mood among the youth had changed, KTR said they had gathered to "sound the bugle of battle" again...
