Bengaluru, June 27 -- Commercial LPG prices have nearly doubled in just a few months, pushing hotels and restaurants to the brink and forcing several establishments to shut down, the Karnataka State Hotels Association (KSHA) said on Saturday as it urged the Centre to roll back cylinder prices to February levels.

The association said commercial LPG cylinders, which hotels could purchase for around Rs 1,650-1,700 after dealer discounts in February, now cost Rs 3,198 each, placing an unsustainable financial burden on the hospitality sector.
