Bengaluru, June 26 -- The BCCI Ombudsman has disqualified Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) secretary Santosh Menon after holding that he had completed the maximum permissible tenure of nine years, declaring the post vacant and directing necessary action from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and KSCA.

The order, passed by Justice (Retd.) Arun Mishra, acting as BCCI Ombudsman, came on a complaint filed by Dolphin Cricketers, a KSCA institutional member. The complaint alleged that Menon had exceeded the tenure limit prescribed under BCCI and KSCA rules.
