The young fast bowler recalled how her mother sold her jewellery to support her cricket dream and said that sacrifice motivated her to work harder and succeed.
The 22-year-old, who hails from Madhya Pradesh, has emerged as one of India's promising fast bowlers in recent months. After making her ODI debut during the tri-series in Sri Lanka featuring South Africa, she went on to earn her maiden T20I cap on the tour of England, where she impressed with a six-wicket haul.
