Bengaluru, July 1 -- Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President BK Hariprasad on Wednesday questioned the authority under which senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader Ram Madhav allegedly held meetings with Pakistani representatives, asking who had empowered an RSS functionary to engage in matters concerning India's foreign policy.

Addressing a seminar at Bharat Jodo Bhavan here, Hariprasad alleged that Ram Madhav had convened meetings in Colombo and London, including what he described as a "secret meeting" with a former Major General of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). He demanded that the union government explain under whose authorisation such engagements had taken place.
