Bengaluru, Sept. 23 -- Karnataka Congress President BK Hariprasad on Wednesday stepped up his attack on the Election Commission, saying questions raised by Rahul Gandhi over electoral rolls and the poll panel's functioning could no longer be dismissed as political rhetoric.
Reacting to reports that two of the three Election Commissioners had raised objections at least 14 times over a 10-month period, Hariprasad said the reported concerns had brought the issue from the political arena into the Election Commission itself.
The objections reportedly related to critical aspects of the electoral process, including addition and deletion of voters, restoration of names, changes to Form 6 and the handling and centralisation of electoral-roll data....
