Bengaluru, Jan. 22 -- A Korean woman visiting friends in Bengaluru was allegedly molested at Kempegowda International Airport by an airport staffer posing as a security official, police said on Thursday.
The accused, identified as Afan Ahmed, was arrested within minutes of the complaint being lodged.
According to police, the incident occurred on January 19, after the woman had completed her security and immigration formalities.
Afan Ahmed reportedly approached her, claiming that a "beeping sound" was detected from her luggage and insisted on conducting a "personal security check".
