Kolhapur, May 11 -- State Deputy Chief Minister and NCP-AP national president Sunetra Pawar today said the Konkan region, which is truly a land of gods, is the backbone of Maharashtra's development due to the immense hard work put in by the local people.
Addressing a public meeting held after the foundation laying ceremony of various works of different departments in the Ashtami Nagar Parishad area of Roha city, she recalled that late Ajit Pawar always supported the development of the coastal Konkan region and even loved the people here very much.
