New Delhi, June 3 -- The construction of the Kondapalli Bailey Bridge in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district has enhanced connectivity in several remote villages of the Bastar region, an area that has long faced challenges due to difficult terrain, dense forests and Naxal-related disruptions.

During his visit to Bijapur under the state government's Sushasan Tihar programme, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai inspected the newly built bridge and said it would help strengthen access to development and public services in remote areas.
