Kolkata, Oct. 24 -- A suspected cybercrime network has come under police scrutiny in Kolkata following allegations that a woman was blackmailed and threatened with the circulation of her private photographs, videos and personal conversations on social media.
According to a complaint filed at Jorasanko Police Station on October 2, 2023, the complainant alleged that her personal data had been accessed from her mobile phone without her consent and was subsequently used to threaten and extort money from her.
